On the 29th, Kyodo News Agency reported that on the same day, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida stated that starting from 0:00 on the 30th, foreigners will be prohibited from entering the world. The reason is that the new strain of the Chinese Communist Party virus ((COVID-19)) “Omi Keron strain” is spreading rapidly in Europe and other places.

Earlier, on the 28th, the Japanese government targeted nine African countries, including South Africa, where the Omi Keron strain was found, and prohibited the entry of new foreigners from these countries.
