According to foreign media reports, a 19-year-old university student from Fukuoka has been sentenced to 24 years in prison by the Saga District Court in Japan. The verdict comes after he brutally murdered his parents, following persistent physical abuse from his father.

The incident took place in their residence located in Saga Prefecture. The young man was apprehended at a convenience store parking lot in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Remarkably, it was a young girl who made the gruesome discovery of the victims’ lifeless bodies. Initially, the case was forwarded to the Saga Family Court, but later referred back to the prosecutor for further proceedings.
