New Delhi: The party high command has appointed JB Mehta as the state president of the Mahila Congress. Months later, JB gets the post vacated by Latika Subhash. Latika resigned as state president in protest of not getting a seat during the assembly elections.
Latika is now in the NCP. Latika resigned in March this year. For eight months, the Women’s Congress did not have a chair in the state.
