Red Bull F1 training driver Jehan Daruvala will take part in a McLaren test at Silverstone this weekend for his first run on an F1 car.

Jehan Daruvala, who will be competing in the FIA-F2 from Prema this year, is in third place in the ranking. Dalbara, who has been competing in the FIA-F2 since 2020, has won three victories.

Originally from India, Jehan Daruvala participated in the Red Bull F1 Junior Program in 2019, when Force India was discovered by the “ONE IN A BILLION HUNT” project.

Jehan Daruvala’s two-day test with McLaren will be part of F1’s TPC / Testing of Previous Cars clause, which was made possible by this year’s regulation changes.

“I am very grateful for this opportunity,” said Jehan Daruvala.

“Testing in F1 is very limited and it’s not easy to get such an opportunity.”

“This is my first experience with an F1 car and it will surely be something special.”

“The Red Bull Junior Team, family, sponsorship support, and this opportunity from McLaren will prepare you to realize your childhood dream of fighting in F1.”

McLaren will also roll out the MCL35M later this year for IndyCar stars Pato O’Ward and Colton Herta as part of the TPC program.

Jehan Daruvala’s father, Fullshed, is a board member of the Indian solar company Sterling and Wilson, which is estimated to be worth € 2.5 billion, with Nikita Mazepin as the Haas F1 Team seat. When he lost, he was named as a candidate for succession in some cases.
