On the afternoon of the 13th, a production presentation of the new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Mt. Jirisan’, which will be broadcast from the 23rd, was held as a follow-up to the tvN drama ‘Gae Village Cha Cha Cha’.
The event was attended by writer Kim Eun-hee and actors Jun Ji-hyun, Ju Ji-hoon, Oh Jeong-se, and Jo Han-cheol.
Instead of director Lee Eung-bok in charge of directing, Choi Sang-mook, the cinematographer, also took the place.
The drama ‘Mt. Jirisan’ is a mystery drama depicting the story of Seo Yi-gang (Jeon Ji-hyeon), the best ranger in Jirisan National Park, and Kang Hyun-jo (Ju Ji-hoon), a new ranger who has an unspoken secret, digging into a mysterious accident that occurs in the mountain.
Writer Kim Eun-hee said, “When I heard the news that actress Jun Ji-hyun was cast, I shouted hurrah. In the case of Seo Yi-gang, played by Jun Ji-hyun, it is the mountain itself, and I thought it would be good if someone who resembled the mountain the most would do it.” He expressed satisfaction with one job.
Jeon Ji-hyeon said, “Which actress can do Kim Eun-hee’s works one after another? It is infinite glory. The artist’s work is detailed and comfortable to act as an actor. I thought it was a casual scene, but I thought that each acted as a guide and was an element of each. As time went on, I thought, ‘It’s Kim Eun-hee,'” he replied.
Joo Ji-hoon, who plays Kang Hyun-jo, said, “I’ve been a fan of Jun Ji-hyun since I was young, so the first meeting is still vivid. I was nervous because there was an image in the movie ‘My Sassy Girl’ and a serious look in ‘Assassination’, but he took care of me a lot and gave me a lot of food. The tension was high, so it was a very good time for the difficult filming. I think that the ranger breathing together is ‘chan’ in one word.”
Meanwhile, Jo Han-cheol will appear in tvN weekend dramas one after another following ‘Gae Village Cha Cha Cha’.
