Pro football Suwon FC put the brakes on Jeonbuk Hyundai’s race towards the championship.
Suwon FC defeated Jeonbuk 3-2 with the winning goal from Ulsan MF Jung Jae-yong, which came in the 43rd minute of the second half of the Hanawon Q K-League 1 2021 Round 36 Final A home match held at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.
Jeonbuk maintained the lead (70 points, 20 wins, 10 draws, 6 losses) with two games remaining until the end of the season, but gave up an excuse to pursue second place (67 points) Ulsan Hyundai.
If Ulsan defeats Jeju United in the next match, Jeonbuk and Ulsan will have equal points.
