Mipro Baseball’s Tampa Bay’s Choi Ji-man smashed a hit in four consecutive games and contributed to the team’s 6-1 victory.
Ji-man Choi hit a single RBI in the 7th inning pinch during the 2022 MLB home game against the Detroit Tigers at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA.
On this day, Detroit sent left-handed Eduardo Rodriguez to start the game, and Choi Ji-man, who started the game on the bench, entered the plate instead of Harold Ramirez in the bottom of the 7th with a 4-1 lead.
Choi Ji-man caught second-base runner Brett Phillips home with a hit in the right-center after receiving a curveball from Detroit pitcher Alex Lang’s fourth pitch.
Tampa Bay defeated Detroit 6-1, led by Isaac Paredis, who played with two RBIs and two hits in four at-bats including one RBI of Choi Ji-man and a home run.
Choi Ji-man’s season batting average, which recorded one hit and one RBI in one at-bat, rose from 0.269 to 0.279 (19 hits in 68 at-bats).
