Ji-Sung Park appears as the legendary FIFA 23 player ‘FUT Heroes’

EA introduced a new player card, ‘FUT Heroes’, in FIFA 22. FUT Heroes illuminates people who are considered legendary even among retired players. FUT Heroes will also appear in the next game, FIFA 23, and among them, Park Ji-sung, who represents the Korean football world, is included, which drew the attention of fans.

On the 21st, EA revealed the three FUT Heroes players appearing in FIFA 23. The currently announced players are Ji-Sung Park, Ricardo Carvalho and Yaya Toure. Regarding Park Ji-sung, EA said, “This player from South Korea, who is full of energy, played as if he was fired from a cannon, drove the defender in midfield and overpowered the opponent with tireless pressure. He scored an assist in just 36 seconds against Chelsea, making him the Premier League champion and undeniable FUT Hero.”

Next, Riccarud Carvalho, a Portuguese centre-back, led his team FC Porto to the 03-04 Primeira Liga (Portuguese First Division) championship, Portugal Player of the Year in 2003 and Defender of the Year in 2004 UEFA Champions League. He was so successful that he was selected as Yaya Toure is a midfielder from Côte d’Ivoire, who represents Manchester City with many goals and performances, especially in 2011 and 2012. He was considered one of the best African midfielders of his time.

Meanwhile, EA has announced that more FUT Heroes will appear in addition to the three players introduced earlier, and that they will announce additional roster this summer. A total of 19 FUT Heroes appeared in FIFA 22.

In addition, FIFA 23 will be released on September 30 (local time) on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia, and supports Korean.
