The band Jota Quest announced this Monday, the 6th, a schedule of presentations by cities in Brazil. The Jota25 – Back to the New tour will have the Beira Rio stadium, in Porto Alegre, as the location for recording the DVD, on June 17th. Tickets are now on sale.
“We’ve been living this beautiful daydream for 25 years. The thing about having a band and going around playing and singing songs, in itself, would be very incredible, but the energy we’re getting from the guys is inexplicable”, celebrates Flausino. “That’s why we decided to extend the tour and record one of these great shows. It will be the greatest birthday present of our lives, and in advance, we thank you all.” complete.
Flausino, Marco Túlio, PJ, Buzelin and Paulinho, chose 25 great hits for their repertoire, such as Fácil, Dias Melhores, Na Moral, Amor Maior, Find Someone and Only Today, in addition to recent singles such as A Voz do Coração, Unprevisível and Te See Overcome. The musical direction of the show is in charge of the band itself in partnership with the musician and producer from São Paulo Renato Galozzi.
Eighteen cities will receive performances by the band from Minas Gerais so far. The show will pass through at least 12 capitals: São Paulo, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Natal, Fortaleza, João Pessoa, Recife, Florianópolis, Brasília and Goiânia. The general direction of the show is by Fábio de Lucena, the creative direction of the tour is by Rafael Conde, scripts by Eduardo Rios, audiovisual production by Studio Curva, lighting by Carlinhos Nogueira and sets by the renowned Zé Carratu.
Parallel to the tour, the band is preparing to release yet another new album, the 10th of their career, also for the first half of 2023 and, this time, with musical production by Rick Bonadio.
