Judges of the Judicial Circuit of Caracas and a mayor of Aragua have been arrested for alleged acts of corruption

This Saturday it was announced through various news portals that the National Anti-Corruption Police (PNCC) carried out a special operation on the night of Friday, March 17, where apparently two judges from the Criminal Judicial Circuit of Caracas and a mayor of Aragua state were apprehended for alleged acts of corruption.

According to unofficial information, the burgomaster involved in irregularities would be Pedro Hernández, president of the Santos Michelena municipality of the Aragüe entity, who would be investigated for his relationship with the reactivation of violence, after the deployment of territorial gangs and armed groups that control the territory of Las Tejerías.

Meanwhile, Cristóbal Cornieles Perret, president of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of Caracas and a lawyer by profession, would be another of the detainees.

The third apprehension would be that of José Mascimino Márquez García, Control Room judge with competence in crimes associated with Terrorism, likewise, he is accused of participating in acts of corruption in the Criminal Judicial Circuit of Caracas.

In search of the veracity of the fact, El Periodiquito has tried to communicate with the mayor Pedro Hernández and part of his work team, however, communication has not been possible.

The third detainee by the National Anti-Corruption Police is Joselip Ramírez, head of the National Superintendency of Cryptoactives (Sunacrip), who in turn was removed from that position by President Nicolás Maduro, as read in decree number 4,788, published in the Extraordinary Official Gazette 6,739, of this Friday of March 17.

Sunacrip is in charge of transacting the petro, a Venezuelan digital currency supported by oil and minerals, among others.

On that side, they are investigating the disappearance of 3 billion dollars from the sale of Venezuelan oil, currencies that presumably did not enter the State.
