SINGAPORE: Vice President Kamala Harris has said her main goal is to evacuate U.S. and allied nationals stranded in Afghanistan. Kamala made the remarks at a press conference in Singapore on Monday during her Asian tour.

Asked by reporters what the US position was on the Afghan issue, he said, “We have a common goal now.” We are tasked with evacuating not only U.S. citizens but also Afghan nationals who have aided the U.S. military for more than 20 years. “We will not hesitate to take any steps to ensure their safety,” said Harris.

At the press conference, Kamala Harris responded with a laugh, which led to criticism. Kamala responded to a series of questions from the media with a smile in her own style. The occasional smile was given the opportunity to protest because it was an Afghan issue.

After completing her visit to Singapore, Kamala Harris will leave for Vietnam on Tuesday. Kamala Harris has adopted a policy of waiting and watching, avoiding questions about US President Joe Biden’s stance.
