February, Colorado, USA. In the ice dance of the Four Continents Championship, the two, affectionately known as “Kanadai,” stand on the ice rink.

“In the rhythm dance, Kanaka (trainer Marina Zueva) was consoled (for falling). In the free dance, Dai-chan (Daisuke Takahashi) encouraged me by saying, ‘It’s okay.

Kana Muramoto looked back after the free performance ended.

“(The second half of the free skate) I was tired, but it wasn’t bad, and my legs weren’t as strong as usual. That’s why (the fall) was such a shock. ….. a situation where I couldn’t to laugh.”

Daisuke Takahashi said that and put a smile on his face.

I was not happy with the result. Muramoto fell in the rhythm dance, and Takahashi fell in the free skate, and both of them were frustrated. However, it was a tournament where Kanadai’s likeness came out strong.

The Ice Dance at the Four Continents Championship was held on February 11th and 13th, and Canada finished ninth overall. The total score is 160.24 points and the score is not growing. Last year’s tournament won a glorious silver medal, so the results will be disappointing.

However, at an altitude of 1,800 metres, where strenuous exercise would likely lead to oxygen depletion, they both pushed through from start to finish.

“I think failure is an accident, so it can’t be helped.

After the rhythm dance, Takahashi told him to be considerate of Muramoto, but it must have been a result of attacking him at the last minute.

“I had practiced a lot, so I thought I could skate with confidence.

Muramoto himself explained the reason for the failure.
