In TV Chosun and Discovery Channel Korea’s ‘Brother Ramen’, broadcast on May 22, Brother Ramen’s first business machine was created.

On this day, PD explained the rules of ‘Brother Ramen’ to Kang Ho-dong, Lee Seung-gi, and Bae In-hyuk who gathered at the snack bar.

The PD said, “We only need to sell three menus in Japan every day. We had a survey with ‘tasty’ and ‘disappointing’, and if even one person answered ‘disappointing’, we would give’ r best to sell that recipe.”

Lee Seung-gi asked, “If it is broken, do I have to prepare a new recipe the next day?”

“We may need 21 recipes for a week,” said the PD.

Lee Seung-gi was nervous, saying, “It’s a small island, so if it’s not delicious, rumors will spread quickly. It can be spoiled in one day. You have to bring a recipe competitive.”

Afterwards, they both arrived at Haneda International Airport in Tokyo, Japan. The day before the opening, the three had a menu meeting.

Lee Seung-gi said, “On the first day, we decided to make meat ramen, dried cod ramen, and seafood soft tofu ramen, but it seems impossible to make a perfect seafood soft tofu ramen with our technology, so I think we should go with seafood and get rid of the soft tofu.”

In particular, the first ramen to be tasted was hwangtae ramen made by Kang Ho-dong. In the final taste test, Lee Seung-gi said, “The visual is not bad,” and Bae In-hyuk also said, “It’s Korean because the red pepper rises.”

After eating the first soup, Lee Seung-gi calmly appraised it as “delicious,” but also said, “The pollock is big. I feel a little irritable.”

Kang Ho-dong asked, “Do I need to trim more?” Lee Seung-gi suddenly relaxed his neck and asked, “Did you trim it?”, drawing a laugh.

Bae In-hyeok said, “The soup is cool,” but “I think it would be okay if the lights were turned off a little faster.”

Afterwards, Lee Seung-gi decided to make delicious pork ramen. However, Kang Ho-dong, who tasted the pork stir-fry to put in the ramen, said, “Something was missing,” and Lee Seung-gi admitted, “It’s completely missing. It’s a flavor that cannot be sold.” Lee Seung-gi redid the pork stir-fry sauce with red pepper paste, seasoned it with a torch and gave it back to the members.

Kang Ho-dong said, “After you taste it, you’ll want to visit it next time.” Bae In-hyeok also praised it, saying, “The meat is sweet, so it feels sweet and salty.”

Meanwhile, ‘Brother Ramen’, which airs every Monday at 10:00 pm, is a program to capture the taste of Japanese people who are familiar with ramen and to promote K-ramen more widely in Japan, the home of ramen.
