Samsung Lions and Kang Min-ho signed a free agent contract on the 24th. Kang Min-ho signed a condition of a maximum total of 3.6 billion won, including a contract of 1.2 billion won for four years, a total annual salary of 2 billion won, and a total of 400 million won in incentives.

After graduating from Pocheol Technical High School, Minho Kang went to Lotte and signed an FA contract at the end of 2017 to wear the Lions uniform. In 1,978 professional games, he averaged 1,761 hits, 290 home runs and 1,022 RBIs. Recognized as the best attacking catcher in Korea, he also played an active part in the national team. Last season, he played 123 games, recording 118 hits, 18 home runs, and a batting average of 2.9 p.m., leading the team to fall baseball. In particular, he faithfully plays a central role in the team as a catcher whom pitchers trust.

Kang Min-ho said, “I’m sorry for the late contract. I think it’s delayed because I’ve been thinking about it carefully. Remaining was my first goal. I’m happy that it led to a good result.
