From the 1st of next month, if the domestic quarantine system is switched to a ‘step-by-step recovery (with Corona)’, the daily life of the people will change significantly. Depending on the industry, restrictions on business hours and number of meeting people, which have been going on for over a year, will be completely abolished or a lot of them will be relaxed. We have summarized the daily life that will change after the transition to Corona in one question and one answer.

―We are planning a year-end party with 10 people in mid-November. Is it possible to eat together at a restaurant and go to a club for the second time?

“From next month, we can gather up to 10 people. However, you need to check whether you are vaccinated or not. When gathering at a restaurant, it is okay to include some of the 10 people who are not vaccinated. The number of unvaccinated persons allowed has not yet been determined. Entertainment facilities, such as the Club Emotional Bar, will resume operations, but they must close at 12pm. Only those who have completed the inoculation can use it. People who have not been vaccinated because of their health or who have tested negative are not allowed to enter. It is expected that the business hours of the entertainment facilities will be adjusted after mid-December.”

―A vaccine pass is being introduced, how do you use it? “Vaccine pass is the same as ‘inoculation certificate/negative confirmation system’. It is a system that allows only those who have completed the COVID-19 vaccination or who have proven that they have tested negative for the gene amplification (PCR) test to use the multi-use facilities. Those who have completed the inoculation can either show the ‘Disease Control Agency COOV’ application (app) to the facility manager or take an electronic access list (QR code) linked with the inoculation history before entering. Seniors who have difficulty using smartphones can use the inoculation completion sticker attached to a paper certificate or identification card.”
―Where do you use the antivirus pass? People who are ill and have not been vaccinated will not be able to go out.

“Vaccine pass application facilities include entertainment facilities, singing practice areas, indoor sports facilities, bathing facilities, bicycle racing, horse racing, racetracks, and casinos. Of these, except for entertainment facilities, people who tested negative for PCR test instead of vaccination, people who could not get the vaccine for medical reasons, and adolescents under the age of 18 are allowed to enter. For example, starting in November, if a non-vaccinated person wants to go to an indoor sports facility, he or she will have to present a PCR-negative certificate, a doctor’s note, or a student ID.”

―How long can the PCR voice confirmation be used after issuance?

“In principle, it is valid until 48 hours after issuance. However, the effect may expire during the night time, so depending on the facility, the effect is recognized until 12:00 p.m. on the day 48 hours have passed. For example, if an unvaccinated person goes to the bathroom with a PCR-negative certificate that is valid until 7 pm and the effective time has elapsed, it does not come out immediately, but can stay until 12 pm.”

―When can I take a shower at the gym?

“From the 1st of next month, you can use the shower room at indoor sports facilities such as gyms. The rules that used to limit treadmill speed and music speed are also gone.”

―Can I eat popcorn and drink Coke at the cinema now?

“Yes. It is possible only if people who have received the vaccine pass gather. Popcorn and cola can be consumed in theaters where only those who have been vaccinated, those who have tested negative for PCR, those who cannot get the vaccine for medical reasons, and those under the age of 18. In this case, the party can sit side by side without floating seats.”
