Vasco da Gama: The Kerala Blasters FC will play tomorrow to continue their winning streak in ISL (ISL 2021-22). In the twelfth round, defending champions Mumbai City (Mumbai City FC) will face off. The match will start at 7.30 pm in Goa. In the first quarter, the Blasters thrashed Mumbai by three wickets.

Adrian Luna, Alvaro Vasquez and Sahal Abdul Samad are the main contributors to the Blasters’ progress. The Blasters have scored 18 goals this season while Mumbai have scored 22 goals. While Mumbai have conceded 20 goals, the Blasters’ strongest defensive line this season has conceded just 10 goals. The Blasters are also the team with the fewest goals conceded.

But in direct numbers, Mumbai dominates. In the 15 matches they have played so far, Mumbai have won six and the Blasters three. Six matches ended in a draw. Mumbai have scored a total of 21 and the Blasters 10 goals. The Blasters, who have suffered just one defeat this season, remain top of the league with 20 points. Mumbai are fourth with 17 points.

Kovid worried

At the same time, Kovid confirmed the outbreak in the Kerala Blasters camp as well. Kovid was found by one of the team officials. With this the team gave up training. Kovid is not affected by players or coaches. Indications are that the team may not be training today. The Blasters’ last match was against Odisha, where several Kovid cases have been reported.

Currently, Kovid cases have been reported in seven of the eleven teams. Therefore, the future of ISL is in doubt. According to ISL rules, a match must be played if there are fifteen players on the team. If a team is unable to get on the field due to Kovid, the opposing team will be declared the winner by three goals to none.
