Kochi: Another new cricket stadium is coming up in Kerala. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah visited the site where KCA is proposed to be built in Nedumbassery.
The KCA Stadium is going to be built on 30 acres around the Kochi International Airport. According to reports, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah and others who inspected the place expressed their satisfaction.
The area includes fields and farmland
Kerala Cricket Association President Jayesh George said the proximity of the airport and the national highway was a positive factor. But the area includes fields and farmland. Jayesh George also said that the help of the state government is needed.
Jayesh George said that more studies are needed before building a stadium here and that a stadium with state-of-the-art facilities is also coming. Kerala is currently one of the state cricket associations that does not have its own international stadium.
