One of Kerala Blasters FC’s young players, Subha Ghosh, is the latest to leave the club. Seven players who were with Kerala Blasters FC for the 2021 – 2022 Indian Club Football season have already left the club.

New platform

Young star Subha Ghosh is joining I-League club Round Glass Punjab from Kerala Blasters. Although he has been with Kerala Blasters FC since 2021, the Bengal star has yet to get a chance to debut for the club. Played on loan for ISL club East Bengal for the 2021-2022 season. Played only three matches for East Bengal. The star, who is a center forward, could not score a goal in the East Bengal jersey.

A return to the I-League

Subha Ghosh got a chance to return to the I-League after a break by joining Round Glass Punjab. Subha Ghosh entered the world of football through Mohun Bagan Academy which was an I League club. 2019 Durant Cup debut for Mohun Bagan. The debut match was against Indian Navy. Subha Ghosh made his debut in the I-League against Churchill Brothers.

A season that made waves

Scored three goals in eight matches for Mohun Bagan in the I-League in 2019-2020. In 2020, Subha Ghosh had to leave the club after ISL club ATK and Mohun Bagan merged to become ATK Mohun Bagan. That is how Kerala Blasters FC signed an agreement. Subha Ghosh created waves as a super sub in the 2019-2020 I-League as Mohun Bagan lifted the title under Kibu Vicuna. Malayali striker V. P. Subha Ghosh came on as a replacement for Zuhair and scored for Mohun Bagan.

When the opportunity was reduced, to Blasters

Even when ATK FC and Mohun Bagan merged in July 2020, Subha Ghosh was retained with the team. ATK Mohun Bagan also retained Kian Nasri and Sheikh Sahil. However, after reaching ISL, Subha Ghosh’s chances also decreased. Subha Ghosh was able to play only 63 minutes in ISL. Under the tutelage of Antonio Lopez Habas, ATK Mohun Bagan did not play a single match. With that, Subha Ghosh decided to join his old mentor, Kibu Vikuna. The actor reached Kochi after talking to Kibu Vikuna, who was the head coach of Kerala Blasters FC.

Couldn’t play for Blasters

Kerala Blasters FC had a poor performance in their first season under the tutelage of Kibu Vikuna. Subha Ghosh did not get a chance to play in the Kerala Blasters FC jersey. Subha Ghosh has played only 12 matches at the professional club level so far. Scored three goals.
