Kerala Covid Update 20244 Fresh Covid Cases Reported Today Test Positivity Remains 16.94 | Third wave fear? Kovid, test positivity for 20,224 was 16.94

Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 20,224 people in Kerala today. Outbreaks were reported in Thrissur 2795, Ernakulam 2707, Kozhikode 2705, Malappuram 2611, Palakkad 1528, Kollam 1478, Alappuzha 1135, Kottayam 1115, Kannur 1034, Thiruvananthapuram 835, Pathanamthitta 797, Wayanad 524, Idukki 520 and Kasaragod 440.

During the last 24 hours, 1,19,385 samples were tested. The test positivity rate is 16.94. Routine sample, Sentinel sample, CBNAT, Trunat, POCT. PCR, RT A total of 3,00,73,530 samples have been tested so far, including LAMP and antigen testing.

Today, it has been confirmed that 99 deaths in the last few days are due to Kovid-19. This brings the total death toll to 19,345.

Thrissur 2776, Ernakulam 2659, Kozhikode 2665, Malappuram 2481, Palakkad 1042, Kollam 1470, Alappuzha 1119, Kottayam 1049, Kannur 918, Thiruvananthapuram 811, Pathanamthitta 764, Wayanad 506, Idukki 511 and Kasaragod 434 were affected by the disease.

The disease affected 97 health workers. Kannur 22, Palakkad 21, Wayanad 12, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur 8 each, Ernakulam 6, Kozhikode, Kasaragod 4 each, Malappuram 2, Thiruvananthapuram and Idukki 1 each were affected by the disease.

A total of 17,142 people who had been diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 1096, Kollam 822, Pathanamthitta 805, Alappuzha 1346, Kottayam 802, Idukki 303, Ernakulam 1507, Thrissur 2492, Palakkad 2363, Malappuram 2115, Kozhikode 1525, Wayanad 292, Kannur 1065 and Kasaragod 609 were cured. With this, 1,82,285 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 35,84,634 have so far been freed from Kovid.

There are currently 4,91,871 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 4,64,919 are under home / institutional quarantine and 26,952 are under hospital surveillance. 2121 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Local Governments are classified on the basis of Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR). The WIPR covers 414 wards in 74 local bodies. Above eight. There will be strict control here.
