Kerala Rain Alert: Rains will continue in the state today; Yellow alert in 6 districts

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Rain Alert: Meteorological Department warns of possible rains in the state today. Based on this, yellow alert has been declared in six districts today. The yellow alert was issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Malappuram districts today.

It is reported that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala till the 23rd. Therefore, the Central Meteorological Department has warned fishermen not to go fishing off the coast of Kerala until further notice. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds of 40-50 kmph and in some places 60 kmph along the Kerala-Lakshadweep-Karnataka coast. Therefore, special instructions have been issued to the public.

In case of heavy rain warning, stay away from the places where you have to move as per the instructions of the authorities.
