Kešetović for Polis/ “Zrak” took place thanks to his employees – TVSA.BA

The Government of the Federation will suspend the bankruptcy proceedings in the company Zrak. Will this former giant of the dedicated industry still survive? Does it have a perspective, who wants to destroy this company and why? What is the value of contracted jobs?

Our guests were the acting director of the company “Zrak”, Edin Čanopresident of the Trade Union, Emir of Kominli and teacher Izet Kesetovicpermanent court expert in the field of economics.

Cano says that the previous government took the right to declare bankruptcy, but on the other hand, the current government, at the invitation of the trade union, has now moved in the direction that the employees of “Zrak” want.

Čano says that they filed an appeal, which will be resolved by the Cantonal Court through the Municipal Court, where the Sarajevo Cantonal Court will have the final say, which, according to Čano, was the most important thing for them, because in “Zrak” every day is important.

He further emphasizes that the entire process is illegal, especially taking into account the fact that the company is in consolidation and has entered bankruptcy.

The value of the contracted work of “Zraka” is high, and the contract with Austria is currently in focus.

“Zrak” has about 54 employees, which is much less compared to the beginning of 2022, when there were about 150 employees.

Kominlija says that this is the merit of the previous administration, which fired a huge number of workers.

The bankruptcy itself was initiated by former employees due to unpaid salaries, and the debts owed by “Zrak” to the employees are about 4.5 million, which is nothing for the Government, says Čano.

The total debts of “Zrak” are about 25 million KM, and the total value of the company is about 27 million.

When asked who wants to destroy “Zrak”, Čano says that they are next to construction mafias, mostly those companies related to production. He further emphasizes that “Zrak” also owns certain technological facilities, which some would like to appropriate, and which are worth perhaps more than the entire “Zrak”.
