Kevin Magnussen “F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was the limit of the body”[F1-Gate .com]

Haas F1 Team Kevin Magnussen had reached the limit of his fitness at the F1 Saudi Labia GP.

Kevin Magnussen, who lost the race seat of the Haas F1 Team after the end of the 2022 season, returned to electric shock about a week before the opening to replace Nikita Mazepin. Saudi Arabia was in its second return.

Jeddah was also a physically tough race for active young drivers, as George Russell called it “the most physically tough race I’ve ever experienced” after the race.

And Kevin Magnussen, 29, was already struggling in qualifying.

“I got fired in Q3. I couldn’t drive anymore. After leaving F1 for a year, I wasn’t ready for it. I’m glad to have the best physio in the world here.” Kevin Magnussen smiled.

But even that physiotherapy isn’t enough for Kevin Magnussen, who was witnessed chatting with Mika Hakkinen on the bench exhausted after finishing in 9th place ahead of Lewis Hamilton on Sunday. I didn’t.

“I’m having a hard time,” smiled at Ekstra Bladet, putting his weight on a small table.

“My neck hurts a lot, but the race is a little slower than qualifying because the lap time is a little slower.”

“The car is a rocket and I was very happy with the balance and the way I could push the tires. It was a lot of fun to drive,” said Kevin Magnussen.

The timing of the safety car caused by the Nicholas Latifi crash was terrible for Kevin Magnussen’s strategy, but the Haas F1 Team had the pace to bounce it off.

“It tells a lot,” said Kevin Magnussen.

“The car is excellent and it’s fast anyway.”
