Broadcaster Kim Eo-jun claimed that he had received a report that a fake profanity video was being distributed that mimics the voice of Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung.

On the 18th, on TBS radio’s ‘Kim Eo-jun’s News Factory’, Mr. Kim said, “I recently received a very important tip.” He said, “I made a deepfake audio file in which candidate Lee swears directly, and delivered it to another place, and it will be distributed soon. We have received specific reports,” he said.

He said, “I started making (file) about a week ago, and the first delivery was last weekend,” he said. Kim said, “We plan to distribute it when it is finally delivered, but among the influential distribution routes, there is a group (there is a group) that engages in ‘Anti-Lee Jae-Myeong’ activities with the so-called ‘Dae-Kae-Moon’. “He said. However, he said, “It seems that the final distribution route has not been confirmed yet.”

“Recently, deepfake technology is indistinguishable from a real voice,” said Kim. He continued, “Once it is actually circulated, I will immediately tell you where it was made and where it was delivered.” He said, “The link between who commissioned and who received the delivery has a bigger impact than fake news. Let’s wait and see.” .
