Kim Hyo-joo wins SK networks-Seoul Economy Ladies Classic [KLPGA]


Kim Hyo-joo (26) climbed to the top of the SK Networks-Seoul Economy Ladies Classic.
Kim Hyo-joo hit 4 under par 68 with 6 birdies and 2 bogeys in the final round of SK Networks-Seoul Economics Ladies Classic on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour held at Pinx Golf Club (par 72, 6707 yards) in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, on the 31st. hit
With this, Kim Hyo-joo, who recorded a final total of 14 under par 274, overcame Lee So-young (13 under par 275) by one stroke to win the championship.

Kim Hyo-joo announced the victory in a month after winning the OK Savings Bank Se-ri Pak Invitational in September. 13th win on the KLPGA Tour. It is the 14th win in his career, including one win he won as an amateur.
Kim Hyo-joo, who is active on the LPGA Tour in the US, took part in the KLPGA tour last year as the LPGA tour was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, Kim Hyo-joo was ranked at the top of major categories such as prize money, first place in average at-bats, joint first place in multiple wins, and second place in grand prize points.
Kim Hyo-joo returned to the LPGA tour this season and won the HSBC Women’s World Championship in May, and also on the KLPGA tour, she lifted the trophy at the OK Savings Bank Se-ri Pak Invitational and SK Networks-Seoul Economy Ladies Classic.
In the final round, So-Young Lee showed great strength by reducing 8 strokes with 9 birdies and 1 bogey, but had to be satisfied with the runner-up by one stroke with a final total of 13 under par 275. Lim Hee-jung finished third with a 10-under 278 stroke, while Lee So-mi, Yoo Hae-ran, and Lee Seung-yeon tied for fourth place with a 9-under 279 stroke.
Park Min-ji reduced two strokes on the last day and placed a tie for 32nd with a final total of even par 288. Park Min-ji, who contributed 5.72 million won in prize money, broke through the season prize money of 1.5 billion won (1.5,356,980 won).
