Kim Ki-hyeon, floor leader of the People’s Power, said, “The Democratic Party should practically cooperate in appointing a neutral and fair special prosecutor to investigate the body of the Daejang-dong allegation.”

At the supreme committee meeting held today at the National Assembly, floor leader Kim said, “Democratic floor leader Yun Ho-jung said there was no problem with the special prosecution in Daejang-dong in March, but we should not just talk about it.”

After the meeting, floor leader Kim met with reporters and dismissed the statement, saying, “Isn’t it a trick to select an investigator who catches thieves?”

“What the Democrats did is a general agenda called a proposal for an investigation, and there is no sincerity due to a trick that came out abruptly during the election,” he said.

Floor leader Kim also called for a strict investigation, saying, “The Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office transferred the case of Lee Jae-myung’s ‘dormitory next door’ to the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency, which he held on to throughout the election period.”

“After the defeat in the presidential election, some parts of the Democratic Party send a threatening message to the new government, which has not even been launched, saying that everything will not go as the elected president will. There won’t be,” he said.
