Kim Min-jeong, who debuted in 1969 as MBC’s first special talent, rose to fame in 1971 by playing the role of Queen Inhyeon in the popular drama ‘Jang Hee-bin’. At the age of 27, he married a Korean-Japanese group and retired from the entertainment industry. However, the marriage failed, and in 1982, he continued his activities on a theater stage in Daehangno. At that time, I met my husband, who was 10 years younger than me, who attended the after-party as a close acquaintance of the actor I was performing with and to heal my wounds.
However, a major crisis came for the couple when the husband, who had treated his wife Kim Min-jung like a queen for 30 years from 1992, suddenly fell ill. Her husband was diagnosed with glaucoma in 2009 and his optic nerve was damaged, and he is gradually losing his sight with a visual acuity of less than 0.05. Kim Min-jung expressed her deep affection for her husband, saying, “It doesn’t matter if you can’t see him. The thinking thing is important. You can’t meet a man like this anywhere.” The man said, “I want to go to many places (with my wife before my sight gets worse). I want to see my wife a lot in different places.”
It is also revealed that Kim Min-jung is meeting with Lee Jeong-seop and Lim Hyun-sik, a senior university official. Min-jung Kim is the only one who calls her “brother”. Lee Jung-seop drew attention by showing overflowing affection from the start, calling Kim Min-jung by her real name, “Sunae.” They recalled memories from their school days, such as making a camera out of wood and practicing shooting on the sandy bottom of the stream in front of the university.
