Kim Seong-eun, a former child star, appeared in ‘Free Doctor’ to convey the good news and recalled the past heyday.

Kim Seong-eun appeared on tvN’s entertainment program ‘Free Doctor’, which was broadcast on the morning of the 13th, and mentioned the golden age of playing the role of Midal in the national sitcom ‘Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology’.

He said, “Even though it was the IMF period, I only shot 30 advertisements,” he said.

‘Soonpoong Obstetrics & Gynecology’ aired 682 times over two years, recording an average viewer rating of 25%, and is a popular sitcom that continues to be talked about as it is rebroadcast on cable TV.

He suddenly went to study abroad while he was active at the time, and was unable to see him in the entertainment industry. “For three years, I studied and filmed in parallel. My growth was slow because I was busy with various events and performances.”

He continued, “When I was 10, I was 130 cm and 20 kg. My parents sent me to study abroad to spend the rest of my childhood in a free environment.”

He said, “There were rumors that it was because I was bullied because I left suddenly. “It’s not true,” he said. “I didn’t speak English well, so I had some difficulties in the beginning, but after that, I got used to it and lived comfortably.”

Then, three years later, at the age of 15, Kim Seong-eun, who set foot on Korean soil again, said, “I came back as my father’s business went bankrupt and the situation became difficult.” “I went to work in my 20s. From a part-time job as a riding instructor, to an English academy instructor, to marketing a cosmetics company, and forwarding a trading company,” he said, surprising.

He said, “The last company I attended suggested YouTube as an opportunity, and I have been working as a theater and musical actor in Daehangno since 2018.”

He added, “I didn’t know that I would be acting again. As I stood on the stage, I could feel the excitement and enthusiasm. I want to become an actor who learns until the end.”
