Group Resurrection Kim Tae-won revealed that he has been living as a ‘father goose’ for 19 years.
Guitarist Kim Tae-won of Resurrection appeared as a guest on tvN’s entertainment program ‘Free Han Doctor’, which aired on the 30th.
On this day, Kim Tae-won said, “My wife and son have been living in the Philippines for over 10 years. (Daughter) Seohyun went to university and graduate school in the United States, so it’s been about 6 years since we were apart.”
Regarding the reason why his wife and son live in the Philippines, Kim Tae-won said, “My son has autism spectrum disorder.” It only started looking beautiful in the last 3 years. The body is big, but the mind is a child. I guess that’s a blessing too. Usually, when the children are older, don’t they leave? But he can’t be without his mother. I think I’m looking down a bit,” he admitted.
Kim Tae-won revealed that Bohwa’s hit song ‘Never Ending Story’ was written out of nostalgia for his family.
Kim Tae-won said, “I get hysterical when I work. After a while, I got on the phone (with my wife) and I shed tears. The tears themselves were embarrassing and hurt my pride .”
He then shared the behind-the-scenes story about the song’s lyrics, “If you miss a movie, you’ll meet someday”, “To be honest, I saw the lyrics faintly in my dream one night. I jumped up and wrote it down.”
