Doha: The Kite Festival will start on the 16th at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park. The location is near the Richard Serra 7 statue in the park. France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the UK and the US will take part in the festival.
Big and small kites in different themes and designs will be presented. The fair will be held on the 16th from 3 pm to 9 pm, on the 17th from 2 pm to 9 pm and on the 18th from 11 am to 9 pm There will also be inflatable games for children. 2 kite making workshops will be held in front of Al Riwak Gallery and at Mia Park Hills.
