Knicks: ESPN Analyst reveals how Carmelo Anthony is a great NBA Player

Carmelo Anthony Waving to Syracuse crowd

A career is decorated by Carmelo Anthony in the NBA.

It was ten years old NBA All Star and Melo was the league's scoring champion in 2013.

With a career average of 24 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3 assists as a member of Houston Rocket, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets, Melo has been an All-Second team of the NBA twice and nominated to Team Third Third times.

A member of the Syracuse National Championship team is headed by coach Jim Boeheim in 2003, Melo is not yet on the NBA roster.

Will the Melo team sign?

“I don't really want to get into it all now,” Anthony told me on Thursday and I was honored by the red carpet of the New York Chapter of the New York Society Chapter.

“But I'm surprised. It is at this point, I am sitting back waiting for my family and all I can focus on now.

When asked if he wanted to play, he told me: “2000 per cent, make that headline.”

Everyone thinks you ask that your Melo should play. Dwyane Wade told me back in September that he was on board.

Charles Barkley is also present.

Walt Frazier, MSG Network, told me that he thinks Anthony could burn some bridges.

Los Angeles and Anthony Lakers had a shared interest and last season. Things did not happen when LeBron James and the local authority injured the NBA Playoffs. Some believe Anthony should have signed a non-competitor last season which may have been played with this season.

However, Anthony has a game. Many people know him especially New York. ESPN reporter and host Outside the Lines, Jeremy Schaapp, Anthony remembers playing for New York Knicks at a time when many people didn't want to play for the orange and for the blue.

Check out a snapshot from our conversation Thursday during the ALS New York New York Sports Awards Awards dinner.

Brandon Robinson Scoop Robinson: You are a New York native. What is Carmelo Anthony for New York City?

Jeremy Schaapp: I think Carmelo Anthony is shown here in the city. And it gave many people a reason here to watch the Knicks when there were few other reasons there. And I think it was a gift for the fans here because it is a very strong player, as a great aggressive player. You know, the Knicks were a mess for 20 years, of course he didn't get the place they wanted to go, no one gave them a place where they wanted to go in 20 years…. this is not Carmelo Anthony. I think he is a man, like New York, and his head can always be high in New York and be respected here.

Brandon Robinson Scoop Robinson: Why don't you think it's a team now?

Jeremy Schaapp: I don't even say what happened last season, this and that, I don't know how much money he needs, I don't know whether there is a minimum veteran there, I don't even know the details of that kind, In my view, it is a cost-benefit analysis. If it's not a team, it's because there's a case now when a person thinks it's worthwhile. This does not mean that the situation does not change week from now.
