Knife riot in Japanese trains… The culprit “Aimed for a woman who looked happy”

A man in his 30s opened fire on a train in Tokyo, Japan, and 10 people were injured.

According to local media such as NHK Broadcasting, around 8:30 pm on the 6th, Tsushima Yusuke, 36, wielded a knife at passengers in a train passing through the Setagaya section of Tokyo.

A woman in her 20s, a college student, suffered serious injuries in Tsushima’s knife riot, and nine passengers in the vicinity were also reported to have suffered minor injuries.

Tsushima fled the scene, but about an hour and a half later, was arrested by the police at a nearby convenience store on charges of attempted murder. It is said that Tsushima, who is unemployed, admitted to the crime, saying, “When I saw a woman who looked happy, I wanted to kill it. Anyone was good.”
