Thiruvananthapuram: Kanjiramkulam KNM, Kazhakoottam Marion and Kayamkulam MSM in Mathrubhumi Campus Cup Intercollegiate Football Tournament. Colleges passed the quarter. KNM Thiruvalla Marthoma (2-1), MSM Dhanuvachhapuram, VTMNS (2-1), Marion, Ambalapuzha Govt. The college was also defeated.
The Thiruvananthapuram regional tournament of the tri-zone tournament will be held at the Kovalam FC stadium in Arumanoor. Teams from Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts are competing.
The tournament was inaugurated by former Kerala Santosh Trophy player and coach Ebin Ross. Indian Oil Corporation Divisional Retail Head Vinayak Mali was the chief guest. Mathrubhumi Unit Manager Anjali Rajan attended the event.
Indian Oil Exp. Presented by 95, Tata Sonata Watches is also participating as a Powered by Sponsor. Decathlon is the sponsor of the ball.
The tournament is organized with the aim of giving a platform to the young footballers of Kerala.
