India skipper Virat Kohli and opener Lokesh Rahul are tired of the new ICC T20 rankings. He scored a half-century in the match against Pakistan but slipped one place in the rankings to five. Lokesh Rahul dropped two places to eighth. Lokesh Rahul did not shine in the match against Pakistan.
According to the latest rankings, England’s David Malan tops the list. Malan’s point is 831. In second place is Pakistan captain Babur Assam. His point has not been shaken. Babur’s point is 820. Aidan Markram of South Africa improved eight places to third. Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan, who shone in the match against India, is in fourth position. Rizwan improved four places to finish fourth.
Only Lokesh Rahul and Virat Kohli are in the top 10. The two players who made it to the top ten were Markram and Rizwan. Aiden Markram hit a half-century off 25 balls in the T20I match against the West Indies. Aiden Markram’s lethal innings of a 25 – ball half – century saved South Africa in that match. Markram’s innings consisted of four huge sixes and two fours off 26 balls.
