Koo Kyo-hwan “I thought ‘Kil Bok-soon’ would go to the Berlin Film Festival… I imagined it beforehand”

On the morning of the 21st, a production briefing for the Netflix film ‘Gil Bok-soon’ was held at the Grand Intercontinental Parnas Seoul. Actors Jeon Do-yeon, Seol Kyung-gu, Kim Si-a, Esom, Koo Kyo-hwan, and director Byeon Seong-hyun attended the event.

‘Bok-soon Gil’ is an action film that tells the story of Bok-soon Gil, a legendary assassin in the hitman industry, dies or is killed just before renewing his contract with the company. Before that, he was officially invited to the special section of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival and was highly praised.

Regarding this, Exchange Koo said, “I knew I was going to the Berlin Film Festival. While filming, I simulated and imagined myself walking down the streets of Berlin. I couldn’t go, but I was expect it anyway.”

At the same time, he said, “Every film festival has a different personality, but one of the film festivals seemed to need ‘Kil Bok-soon’.”

Meanwhile, ‘Kil Bok-soon’ will be released on Netflix on March 31.
