Koot Harbhajan and Parthiv; IPL record of shame for Rohit Sharma

by news dir

Dubai: Rohit Sharma has been in explosive form in international cricket. Rohat’s name tops the list of players who have scored the most runs this season. But when it came to the IPL, Rohit was not able to bat by default. Meanwhile, the player missed three matches due to injury.

The star has been ruled out of the Australian tour. The return from injury was against Sunrisers Hyderabad. But the performance was disappointing. The captain also played against Delhi Capitals in the first qualifier today. Though he came in as the opener, Rohit was out on the first ball he faced.

With this, Rohit set a record that he did not want. Rohit shares the worst record for most ducks in IPL history. Rohit was dismissed 13 times. Rohit is accompanied by Harbhajan Singh of Chennai Super Kings and Parthiv Patel of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rohit played 199 matches. Rohit needed eight more runs to reach 4,000 for the Mumbai Indians.

Chennai’s Piyush Chawla, Ambati Rayudu, Hyderabad’s Manish Pandey and former Delhi’s Gautam Gambhir are the second highest ducks. All four were out 12 runs.
