[천지일보=김예슬 기자] The Korea Energy Agency (Chairman Chang-seop Kim) signed an MOU for carbon neutral implementation support for mid-sized companies with the Korea Federation of Medium Enterprises and the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning on the 3rd at Duzon Eulji Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul.
To support carbon neutrality of mid-sized companies, the three institutions ▲discover and support various programs for the supply and diffusion of renewable energy ▲discover and conduct R&D research for mid-sized companies and nurture human resources ▲Education for medium-sized companies to enhance their understanding of carbon neutrality · We decided to cooperate with publicity, etc.
In particular, with this agreement as an opportunity, the Korea Energy Agency will discover and improve the means to promote the voluntary implementation of carbon neutrality in the industry, focusing on three major fields including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicles, as well as renewable energy for the implementation of carbon neutrality in medium-sized enterprises. We plan to support it in various ways.
Kim Chang-seop, chairman of the Korea Energy Agency, said, “It will be difficult to expect the implementation of carbon neutrality in 2050 without the active efforts and participation of companies to reduce carbon emissions from industrial activities. We will actively support the implementation.”
