The Korea eSports Association has released the schedule for the Korean national esports team participating in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games. This will be the first time that esports is included as an official sport in the Asian Games. The Korean team will be competing in FC Online, Street Fighter V, League of Legends, and Battleground Mobile.
The tournament will take place from September 24 to October 2 at an esports stadium in Hangzhou, China. The match schedule for each event was determined through a draw conducted by the national team officials.
The FC Online Korea national team, consisting of players Kwak Jun-hyuk and Park Ki-young, along with coach Shin Bo-seok, will be competing for medals. Their matches will start on September 24, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals on September 25, and the bronze medal match and final on September 27.
The Street Fighter V national team, composed of players Kim Kwan-woo and Yeon Je-gil, and coach Kang Seong-hoon, will also be aiming for a medal. Their matches will begin on September 26, with the semi-finals on September 27, and the bronze medal match and final on September 28.
The League of Legends national team, consisting of players Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je, Seo Jin-hyuk ‘Kanaby’, ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, ‘Chovy’ Jeong Ji-hoon, ‘Ruler’ Park Jae-hyuk, ‘Keria’ Min-seok Ryu, and coach Kim Jeong-gyun, will compete on September 25. Depending on their results, the quarter-finals will take place on September 27, the semi-finals on September 28, and the bronze medal match and final on September 29.
The Battleground Mobile national team, composed of players Soonbin ‘Beanie’ Kwon, Donghyeon ‘TG’ Kim, Sunghyeon ‘Sporta’ Kim, Sangcheol ‘Favian’ Park, Youngjae ‘Cjae’ Choi, and coach Sanghoon Yoon, will be playing on September 28. The round of 16 will follow on September 29, the semi-final on September 30, and the final on October 1.
It should be noted that the Battleground Mobile event will feature a dedicated version for the Asian Games. The top four teams from each region in the Road to Asian Games (RDAG) regional competition will advance to the round of 16, with the remaining teams determined through preliminary and qualifying rounds.

The full game schedule of the national e-sports team will run from September 24 to October 2, and the game will be held at an e-sports stadium in Hangzhou, China. The detailed matches for each event were decided by a draw under the watchful eye of the national team official.

The FC Online Korea (formerly FIFA Online) national team consists of two players, ▲Kwak Jun-hyuk, ▲Park Ki-young, and coach Shin Bo-seok, who will hunt for medals.
The FC Online national team will participate in the match starting at 11:30 am on the 24th (Korea time), and depending on the results of the match, the quarter-finals and semi-finals on the 25th and the bronze medal match and the final on the 27th. are scheduled.
The online C event will be held as a solo event, and a total of 35 players from 20 countries will participate. Korea’s Kwak Jun-hyuk achieved the best performance in the RDAG regional competition and advanced straight to the round of 32, while Park Ki-young started playing in the round of 32 as a result of a lottery.

The top four teams from each region in the RDAG regional competition advanced directly to the round of 16, and to determine the remaining 12 teams that will advance to the round of 16, one preliminary round will be held first and two second qualifying rounds. From the round of 16, the teams will be divided into 4 groups and the 2 best teams from each group will progress to the quarter-finals. From the quarter-finals, the teams will be divided into 2 groups and the top 2 teams from each group, and a total of 4 teams, progress to the finals.
The Korean national team was assigned to Group C in the first round of the second preliminary round, in the same group as the national teams of Vietnam and Nepal and the team in second place in the first preliminary round to be played on the 27th, and will play from 3 to 6 pm on the 28th.
