Korean actress Sandra Oh attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in Britain which was attended by heads of state.

According to the New York Post and the BBC, Sandra Oh attended the Queen’s funeral at Westminster Abbey in London on the 19th (local time) as a member of a condolence team led by the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Tree.

On this day, Sandra Oh wore a black suit and a black passinator. Since then, attention has focused on why he joined the official funeral sympathy group.

The New York Post reported that Sandra Oh attended the funeral as a member of a sympathy group as an Order of Canada recipient.

Sandra Oh was awarded Canada’s National Order of Merit in June for her contributions to the arts and culture. This medal was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Dominion of Canada in 1967, and is divided into Associate, Officer, and Member in order of rank. The category that Sandra Oh put her name on was officer.

Canada’s condolence team included Sandra Oh, Olympic gold medalist Mark Tukesbury, and pop musician Gregory Charles, three recipients of the National Order of Merit.

Born to parents who immigrated from Korea to Canada, second generation immigrant Sandra Oh graduated from the Montreal Film School and starred in the 1994 film ‘Double Happiness’.

After that, he rose to prominence by playing the role of a Korean-American doctor in the American TV drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in 2005.
