KOSPI starts rising for the first time in four days… 2730 grand total

The KOSPI is showing an upward trend in the first four days of the market on the 26th.

As of 9:21 am, the KOSPI stood at 2,731.78, 11.39 points (0.42%) higher than the previous day.

The KOSPI, which had fallen for three consecutive trading days earlier, rose 9.36 points (0.34%) on the same day, starting at 2,729.75 and continuing its upward trend.

The index closed at 2,720.39, down 2.56% in the future, and closed at the lowest level since December 8 (2,700.93) of last year.

On this day, institutions net bought 86.2 billion won in the stock market, raising the index.

Individuals are also net buying 2 billion won, while foreigners are net selling 83.7 billion won, leading to selling for five consecutive days.

On the 25th (local time), the New York stock market closed lower despite the announcement of good results by major companies due to concerns about the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and rising geopolitical tensions originating from Ukraine in January.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell to 2.38% during the day and eventually closed down 0.19%, showing a roller coaster market for the second day.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq, which focuses on technology stocks, fell 1.22% and 2.28%, respectively.

IBM (5.65%) and American Express (8.92%), which announced good results, soared.

Kiwoom Securities analyst Han Ji-young said, “The US stock market, which had achieved a dramatic rebound the day before, turned to a downtrend again, and the intraday volatility continued to widen significantly.

“The accelerating US Fed tightening and geopolitical risks between Russia and the West continue to cause market unrest,” he added.

Samsung Electronics (0.14%), SK Hynix (0.85%), LG Chem (1.71%), Samsung SDI (0.47%), and Kia (0.78%) show an upward trend in the top market by market cap.

Naver (-2.17%), Hyundai Motor (-1.03%) and Kakao (-0.68%) are falling.

By industry, medical precision (2.04%), finance (1.25%), transportation and warehouse (1.02%), telecommunications (1.03%), and chemical (0.90%) are on the rise.

At the same time, the KOSDAQ index rose 5.20 points (0.58%) to 894.64 from the previous day.

The KOSDAQ index opened at 892.01, up 2.57 points (0.29%) from the previous field.

Institutions are net buying 20.4 billion won in the KOSDAQ market.

On the other hand, individuals and foreigners are net selling 14 billion won and 6.8 billion won, respectively.

Celltrion Healthcare (0.62%), EcoproBM (0.07%), Pearl Abyss (0.59%), L&F (0.16%), and Kakao Games (1.30%) are rising in the top market by market cap.
