Kovid adds 1,043 to Saudi; 14 deaths

Riyadh ∙ Saudi Arabia today confirmed another 1,043 people, according to the Ministry of Health. 14 deaths were also reported. The number of people who have recovered in the last 24 hours is 1,211. There are 10,393 patients in hospitals across the country. Of these, 1,396 remain in critical condition.

This brings the total number of Kovid cases in the country to 529,995, the number of survivors to 511,318 and the number of deaths to 8,200. So far, 24,800,706 Kovid tests have been completed in the country, including 106,517 newly conducted Kovid tests. So far in Saudi Arabia, 19,453,104 people have received the first dose and 8,956,436 people the second dose. The ministry said 1,495,095 children had not been vaccinated.

The highest number of patients reported today is in Makkah; 214 people. Riyadh leads in number of critically ill patients; 314 people. The other provinces where the disease has been confirmed today are Riyadh 192, Eastern Province 169, Azir 126, Jizan 92, Madinah 65, Hail 43, Najran 39, Al Qasim 39, Tabuk 19, Northern Province 18, Albaha 16 and Al Jawf 11. The number of critically ill patients in the area is 259 in the Eastern Province, 229 in Makkah, 167 in Azir, 109 in Al-Qasim, 98 in Jizan, 65 in Madinah, 51 in Najran, 38 in Hail, 27 in Northern Province, 21 in Tabuk and 12 in Al-Jawf.
