Riyadh: The Ministry of Health today announced that Kovid has confirmed 59 new cases in Saudi Arabia. Today’s saw a slight increase in the daily figures, which had been below 50 for the past five days. Five deaths were reported. The number of people who have recovered in the last 24 hours is 76. 2255 active patients are hospitalized in different parts of the country. Of these, 244 remain in critical condition.
This brings the total number of Kovid cases in the country to 546,985, the number of survivors to 536,026 and the number of deaths to 8,704. So far 28,754,325 Kovid tests have been completed in the country, including 44,262 newly conducted Kovid tests. So far in Saudi Arabia, 23,285,119 people have received the first dose and 18,420,251 people the second dose. The ministry said 1,649,751 children had not been vaccinated. This brings the total number of people vaccinated in the country to 41,705,370.
The highest number of patients reported today is in Makkah; For 17 people. Riyadh leads in number of critically ill patients; 71 people. No one is sick in Albaha today. Other provinces where the disease has been confirmed today are Riyadh 12, Eastern Province 10, Madinah 5, Jizan 4, Najran 2, Azir 2, Al Qasim 2, Al Jawf 2, Northern Province 1, Tabuk 1 and Hail 51. The number of critically ill patients in the area is as follows: Makkah 40, Azir 24, Eastern Province 23, Najran 16, Madinah 15, Al Qasim 14, Jizan 11, Tabuk 8, Northern Province 8, Hail 8, Al Jawf 4 and Al Baha 2.
