Kovid outbreak ends in Europe: WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) says Kovid spread in Europe is coming to an end. This was revealed by Hans Kluge, Europe director of the organization. He added that with the outbreak of Omicron, Kovid is becoming like a plague and by March, 60 percent of Europe’s population will have confirmed Omicron.

His revelation is that by the end of this year, the Kovid expansion in Europe will be almost over. Omicron is not like other variants of Kovid. Omicron has low hardness. Kovid is changing from being an infectious disease to a control disease like fever.

Meanwhile, authorities are preparing to conduct a Kovid test for all residents of the Chinese capital, Beijing. There are 20 lakh people here. All of them will be tested. The move comes just two weeks before the start of the Winter Olympics. So far, Kovid has confirmed 43 cases here.

In addition to testing everyone, those in high-risk areas have been barred from leaving the city.

The Winter Olympics begin on February 4. People, including athletes and journalists, have already begun to arrive on the scene. Of those who arrived, 72 were found to be Kovid positive, officials said.
