Kovid vaccine booster dose mandatory in Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: In Saudi Arabia, Kovid has made the two-dose vaccine mandatory for anyone over the age of 18 who is eight months old or older. The decision will take effect from February 1, 2022, Home Ministry sources said. The ministry also demanded that the booster dose be shown on the Tawalkana application for work and travel after the due date.

The booster dose is mandatory for all activities involving economics, commerce, culture, sports, tourism, scientific, social and recreational activities, access to government and private institutions, public space, air travel and public transport. The booster dose should also be taken if the current immunization is to be completed. The home ministry has also demanded that the approved health precautions and guidelines be followed throughout the day.
