Kozhikode: KP Anil Kumar, who left the Congress, has been included in the CPM Kozhikode district convention patronage list. The decision was taken at the organizing committee meeting held today.
Mathrubhumi reported that the CPM had given a seat to Anil Kumar in the middle of the stage shortly after the district conference organizing committee meeting. The organizing committee has been formed with Thottathil Raveendran as chairman and A Pradeep Kumar as general convener.

KP Anil Kumar has been included in the seven-member committee comprising Elamaram Kareem, TP Ramakrishnan and Mohammad Riyaz. The CPM Kozhikode district convention will be held in Nalanda, Kozhikode from January 10 for three days.

Meanwhile, Anil Kumar resigned from the Congress on Tuesday and joined the CPM. Anil Kumar went to the AKG Center after announcing his resignation from the Congress. Anil Kumar came to the AKG Center with PS Prashanth, who had earlier left the Congress and joined the CPM. ‘This is the first time I have stepped on the steps of the AKG Center. Climbing with the right foot. We are going to cooperate with the CPM with pride and dignity. One cannot pretend not to see the secular values espoused by the CPM. I am going to the CPM without any conditions, ”said Anil Kumar.
Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, former CPM state secretary and politburo member, received KP Anilkumar wearing a red shawl. Congress will give due consideration to those who leave. Kodiyeri said that there was a rift in the Congress and that the party had lost faith in the rank and file.
