KS Bharath replaces Sahai again behind the wicket; BCCI announces reason |

Kanpur: KS Bharat replaces Wriddhiman Saha as the wicketkeeper’s glove for Team India on the final day of the first Test against New Zealand (India vs New Zealand 1st Test). Saha is sidelined from the wicket due to neck pain. Earlier on the third day, Bharath wore the wicket-keeper’s glove to replace Saha.

On the second day of the Kanpur Test, Wriddhiman Sahai suffered a neck injury while keeping 55 overs. But despite the injury, Saha stunned everyone on the fourth day with a smashing half-century. Saha, who scored 61 off 126 balls in the second innings, led India to victory with Shreyas Iyer. Shreyas-Saha added 64 runs from 103/6. After Shreyas’ dismissal, Akshar Patel put on 67 for the seventh wicket.

In the first innings of New Zealand, KS Bharath was behind the wicket. Participated in three crucial dismissals that paved the way for India’s comeback. Ravichandran Ashwin bowled Will Young and Akshar Patel bowled Ross Taylor. Bales fired Tom Latham in the 95th over as he turned the century around.

Chasing a 284-run target in the Kanpur Test, New Zealand’s batting progressed in the first session on the final day. The Kiwis, who resumed batting at four for one, were 63/1 at the end of the report. Tom Latham (29 *) and William Somerville (28 *) are at the crease. The Kiwis need 221 more runs to win.
