ദുKurup, directed by Srinath Rajendran and starring Dulquer Salmaan, has been released in the Middle East. The film premiered on November 11 at Reels Cinemas. The film was produced by Force Films, the largest film distribution and screening network in the Middle East.
The film has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Founded in 1964, Force Films is one of the leading film distribution companies in the Middle East. As part of the release, Kurup’s trailer was shown in Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
Srinath’s film is based on the story of Pitikittappully Sukumara Kurup. The other characters are played by Indrajith, Sunny Wayne and Shine Tom Chacko. The film, which is being made on the biggest budget of Dulquar’s career, has a budget of Rs 35 crore. Produced by Wafer Films and M Star Entertainment, owned by Dulquar. Written by Jithin K Jose, the film is scripted and narrated by Daniel Soyuz Nair and KS Aravind.

Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam is the music director. Vini Vishwa Lal is also behind Kurup as the Creative Director. The production designer of the film is Banglan, who won the National Award for Best Production Design through the Blacksmith incident. Editing by another National Award winner Vivek Harshan.
