Kwak Do-won accused of drunk driving while sleeping on a road in Jeju

Caught by resident report… He told police he was “driving”

Actor Kwak Do-won (49, real name Kwak Byung-gyu), who lives in Jeju, was arrested by the police for drunk driving.

Jeju West Police Station announced on the 25th that they had booked Kwak Do-won on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

Kwak Do-won was caught in a drunken arrest by the police while sleeping in a car with his SUV parked on a road in Bongseong-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si around 5 am that day.

The police received a report from residents that ‘a car parked on the road was not moving’ and they came to the scene and woke him up, who was sleeping in the car, and took a breath test.

It was confirmed that the blood alcohol level was higher than the license revocation value (0.08%).

At the time of his arrest, he obediently complied with a police breathalyzer test.

It is known that he declared to the police that he drove a car from Hallim-eup to Aewol-eup.

A police officer said, “There were no other accidents caused by drink driving, just drink driving.”

Kwak Do-won debuted in 1992 and has appeared in films such as Steel Rain 2: Summit (2020), ‘International Investigation’ (2020), and ‘There Is No Goo’ (2022).

He has moved and lives in Jeju.

In 2018, he worked as an ambassador for Jeju Island.
