Kwon Soon-woo, ranked 82nd in the world, advanced to the semifinals by defeating Laszlo Zere (49th in the world, Serbia) 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the ATP Tour Astana Open singles final held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

Kwon Soon-woo, who again advanced to the semifinals of the tour tournament after 3 months since Viking International held in England in June this year, will meet in the semifinals with the winner of the Alexander Bubrick (34th, Kazakhstan)-Carlos Taverner (117th, Spain) match. .

Kwon Soon-woo secured a prize money of 24,30 dollars (about 28 million won) and 90 ranking points to advance to the semi-finals of this tournament, and will be able to climb up to 74th in the world rankings next week.
