Since March 8, Ferrari has launched the Ferrari Hall of Fame campaign through Ferrari’s official media channel. This campaign, which was held for the first time since the founding of Ferrari, attracted a total of 4.3 million people around the world over three months, proving the high interest of fans in voting.

The criteria for voting was not to select the most expensive or fastest model, but rather the Ferrari that had the deepest connection with fans in terms of design, performance and sound. The voting was divided into seven eras: Brand △Early founding △1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. In addition, it took a week for each era to vote until the final finals, in which the top two candidates compete in the quarterfinals and quarterfinals.

Among them, La Ferrari not only recorded the most votes in the category in the 2010s, but was also selected as the most preferred model by fans in the overall Hall of Fame ranking. LaFerrari was inducted into the Hall of Fame by winning a total of 279,000 votes out of 2010’s models, beating the 458 Speciale.

Ferrari’s first limited-edition supercar and hybrid model, LaFerrari was first unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and only 499 units were produced worldwide. The 500th vehicle, which was specially added, was sold at an auction in 2016 for $7 million (about 9 billion won), and all proceeds were donated to victims of the earthquake in Italy.

In addition to LaFerrari, the vehicles inducted into the Hall of Fame are △The sleek and beautiful 250 Europa first shown at the Paris Motor Show in 1952 (early) △250 GTO with V12 front engine (1960s) △V6 mid-engine Dino 246 GTS (1970s) △ Iconic model F40 of the 1980s (1980s) equipped with a V8 engine with a maximum speed of 324 km/h △ F50 (1990s), which was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Ferrari and most similar to the F1 model for public use among Ferrari vehicles △ There is Enzo Ferrari (2000s) with a powerful V12 engine that led to Ferrari winning the F1 Championship.
