Marathon runner Bong-ju Lee, who is battling an incurable disease, goes out on a broadcast.
Legend sports stars Lee Bong-joo and Kim Byeong-ji will appear on the KBS2 entertainment program ‘Immortal Song’, which will be broadcast at 6:10 pm on the 21st, to present a touching stage.
Bong-ju Lee, who became a national marathon runner by winning a silver medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, has been battling the incurable disease ‘muscle dystonia’ since last year.
On this day, Lee Bong-joo said, “Many people were worried about me, but I wanted to show a strong image when I appeared in an immortal masterpiece.” Then, Lee Sun-hee’s ‘Ah! He selected ‘Once upon a time’ and presented a song of hope, moving everyone.
Also, soccer legend goalkeeper Kim Byung-ji will prepare a stage to commemorate the late Yoo Sang-cheol, who was a colleague of the national team.
